Pere is a Revgaji Job in Final Fantasy Tactics A3. The Pere embraces the power of the wild. By embracing it, he can absorb some of the wild power that is found inside all of the monsters and livestock. The ability to do so is called Za'am, and is expressed by going "berserk" for a few rounds, using abilities unique to the monster chosen.

When PERE goes into Za'am, his abilities, weaknesses and strengths changes to that of the monster selected, although his stats remain the same. When choosing a monster kind, a sub menu will pop up with all the available monsters of that type.

Counter Follow up an enemy attack with an attack of your own.
Units with ranged weapons can only counter up close and won't use their weapon to attack.
Bonecrusher Nulls normal adjacent attacks and counters with 1.5x damage if hit with a basic attack.

EtymologyEdit

The word Pere means wild in hebrew. the word Za'am means rage in hebrew. The class as a whole draws a lot of inspiration from both FFTA morpher and Gau from FFVI.
